The Beach House is situated at 91 Old Burleigh Road in the north of Broadbeach, a mere stones throw from sandy beaches and the rolling Pacific Ocean. It is the last standing original beach house in Broadbeach and hails from the era which put the Gold Coast on the map as Australia’s premiere tourist destination. It is within walking distance along the beachfront promenade of the Broadbeach world famous restaurant precinct
.
Upon entering the property guests will cross a private hedged grass court yard boarded by white picket fence and then step across the Balinese water feature which contains 3 flood lit fountains.
The beach house is surrounded by large sweeping verandahs on two sides where guests can sit, converse, dine or catch a snooze on a day bed..
Entering through French doors immediately into the lounge room, followed by the formal dining room guests will appreciat the spaciousness of the house.
The formal living area flows through to a private internal Tuscan garden which is served from a French provincial galley kitchen fully equipped for those who like to cook.
In the summer the beach house is naturally cool with 10 foot ceilings and windows which catch the sea breezes but all rooms also have air-conditioning.
In winter the beach house is serviced by two working fire places, an open fire place in the main lounge room with a smaller Victorian fire place in the master bedroom.
The Tuscan garden features a Chinese Warrior statue who guards the guests from the west. The garden is equipped with a 4 gas burner bar b que and is fully lit with soft mood lighting for casual evening dining.
If preferred, guests can dine on the open verandah to the front of the property.Guests in the loft have their own private balcony which overlooks the Tuscan garden.
The beach house accommodates 13 persons, with 3 queen beds, 1 queen sized sofa bed, 2 king single beds and a combined double and single bed ensemble.
All bedrooms have separate ensuites.
There is a 40 inch plasma television and DVD player in each bedroom. The lounge has the same as well as a sound system with docking station. Wi Fi is also available throughout the beach house.
For the guests comfort, the beach house has access to a large heated swimming pool and spa.
Beach Umbrellas, deck chairs and boogie boards are provided free of charge.
